Psalm 27:13

“I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”

The time is here; this season for me in Cambodia is ending in a few short days. I have had the honour of being here and living here among the people for the past 6 months. I will never forget starting this journey of the Ignite Missions Training School in Miami airport, about to board a flight for Guatemala, crying in the terminal saying, “Lord, is this truly your will for me?” Through three months of training in Guatemala to 6 months on the field in Cambodia to returning to Montana for re-entry in a few days, classes and kids clubs, teaching and worship, weeping and dancing the Lord broke me and changed me so completely, redeemed and restored and the only way I can boast in any of the work the Lord has done is that the Lord and Him alone has done the work, I cannot boast in any of it. So here I sit, thinking about all that this time has been, I am beginning to truly process all of it, and the Lord just keeps reminding me of the words revival and harvest.

When we landed here in Cambodia, it was evident that there is a revival happening here. With 3 percent of the population proclaiming Christ, it is considered an unreached people group. We are in partnership with a church here that is reaching thousands, it has been incredible to be apart of and be in the midst of the revival here. I will never grasp why I get to be so blessed to witness the revival happening here, but my team and I were chosen by God to be here for this season. With missionary families and people that came before us, plowing the field and sowing seed, we from being here and especially over these past six months have witnessed an incredible harvest. We have gotten to be apart of teaching kids, worship, traveling to local villages to have Potter’s Field Kids Clubs and so many incredible things. The Lord is good. This has been an incredible season and the Lord is working mightily here and in our hearts as well, and He is just getting started. The Lord is faithful. The Lord is good.

In Him and in faith we can take courage, we can have belief that we will see His goodness in the Land of the living, soul faint not, for Christ dwells among us, Emmanuel, God is with us and He will never stop loving us, He will complete the work He has began. Our hearts are restless until they find rest in Him, He changes everything, He is our Lord, Rock and Redeemer, and above all, our loving Father in whom we trust.
